Collect: Gracious and loving God, you have drawn us to yourself with everlasting love and revealed in Christ the breadth and length and depth of your mercy. As you called Peter to love and follow even after failure, so call us anew to walk with Christ in passionate devotion. Kindle in us alonging for you, 0 God, as in a dry and weary land where there is no water. Root us and ground us in love, that our lives may overflow with grace, and our hearts be ever ready to serve and to follow, even unto the cross.Through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever.
