A few years later, the Church of St. John the Baptist was consecrated and dedicated, to the Glory of God. St. John’s Church served the spiritual needs of the British Forces stationed at Lancer’s Line, Secunderabad.
Our Sunday School is one of the many ministries of our church and has in its fold almost hundred children, twelve teachers and fourteen (youth) volunteers. The Sunday School Superintendent is Mrs. Mary Sujatha Madhukar David
St. John’s Youth Fellowship (JYF) is a cool hangout for Christian young adults, youth and teens to come build quality relationships, have fun, share problems and dig into God’s word together!
The Women’s Fellowship of St John’s is always a beehive of activity. Women’s fellowship meets every Sunday in side chapel. Thank you, for a time of praise & prayer to intercede for various prayer requests from the congregation & otherwise.
The Men’s Fellowship was started in the year 2005 by our church elders Mr. I.P.P. Prabhakar Rao and Mr. Subash Desappa. The main purpose is to bring about more interaction and improve spiritual development activity, uniting the men in the spirit of love where each man recognizes that he is his brother’s keeper.
Away in an obscure corner of Asia Minor, the greatest event of world’s history had taken place: The advent of Jesus Christ and the founding of the Christian Church.
