Collect. O Lord, our God we were once foolish, disobedient and wrong, Slaves to the passions and pleasures of all kinds. But you O Lord, loved us and revealed our Saviour to save us through not because of our good deeds, but because of your mercy. You saved us through the Holy Spirit, who gives us new birth and new life by washing us through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever. Amen
