Collect: O Loving Master, who shine into our hearts by the pure light of the knowledge of yourself, and open the eyes of our minds to your teaching, that in all things we may both think and act according to your good pleasure, you showed your steadfast love to Abraham, and in your mercy sent your only Son into this world to save us, even when we go astray, you long for our return and constantly reveal your love to us. We thank you, O Lord, for such unfailing grace, make us living instruments of your love, that we may bear witness to your compassion to all creation, through your Son, our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever.
