Collect: Almighty and Merciful God, who gathers your people from every land and restores what was broken with streams of living grace, renew our hearts by your Spirit, that we may offer ourselves as living sacrifices, holy and acceptable in your sight; cleanse us from all iniquities, restore to us the joy of your salvation, and teach us to pray not with empty words but with sincere hearts turned toward you, that in fasting, repentance, and inward transformation we may be conformed to your will and not to the patterns of this world; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever. Amen.
