Collect: Almighty God, in a world darkened by sin and despair, we look to the suffering and obedience of your Son, through whom salvation has come to all. Strengthen us in our trials, that we may not lose heart or be ashamed, but glorify you amid every test we endure for the sake of Christ. Teach us to wait on you with hope, to trust in your judgment, and to entrust our ourselves to you with steadfast faith, until we rejoice in the glory of Christ revealed. Through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and theHoly Spirit, one God, now and forever. Amen.
