Psalms 126: 1 – 3
It is good to observe how GOD’s deliverances of the church are for us, that we may rejoice in them. And how ought redemption from the wrath to come, from the power of sin and of Satan, to be valued! The sinner convinced of his guilt and danger, when by looking to a crucified SAVIOUR he receives peace to his conscience, and power to break off his sins, often can scarcely believe that the prospect which opens to him is a reality.

Esther 2: 17
Made her queen.
That the Persian king appointed Esther as queen illustrates how GOD can turn the hearts of sinful people in order to serve HIS purposes. Esther was now in a position to help her people when the need arose about five years later. GOD used the free decisions of those involved to protect His people.

Galatians 5: 17
The SPIRIT against the flesh.
The spiritual conflict within believers involves the whole person, the struggle is whether they will surrender to the sinful nature’s inclinators and again submit to sin’s control, or whether they will yield to the Spirit’s demands and continue under CHRIST’s dominion. The battlefield is within Christians themselves, and the conflict must continue throughout their earthly lives if they are to eventually reign with CHRIST.
