Psalms 120 to 125

Psalms 121: 2
My help cometh from the LORD.
Family, friends or wealth must never be viewed as our ultimate source for meeting our needs physically and spiritually. We must always trust in the LORD with all our hearts and seek HIM for grace to help us time of need.
OLD TESTAMENT
🌈
1 Kings 10: 14 – 11: 13

1 Kings 11: 1
Solomon loved many strange women.
Chapter 11 describes Solomon’s spiritual decline and its results. Solomon began as a man who loved the LORD, walked according to HIS statutes and built HIS temple. He experienced GOD’s love, grace and salvation, he was given special spiritual understanding and he wrote Holy Scriptures under the inspiration of the HOLY SPIRIT.

NEW TESTAMENT
✝️
Matthew 26: 69 – 27: 10

Matthew 27: 9
Jeremiah the prophet.
Matthew here combines and summarises elements of prophetic symbolism, one from Jeremiah 32: 6–9 and one from Zachariah 11: 12–13. Then he mentions the older and more prominent prophet as the source, a custom frequently used in alluding to passages from the prophets.
