Collect: God of Justice and Compassion, who judges in the midst of the divine assembly and whose ways are always righteous and compassionate. We thank you for sending your Son Jesus Christ, who revealed your love through self-giving compassion and proclaimed the good news of the Kingdom. Empower us by Your Spirit, 0 Lord, to be faithful labourers in your harvest-not in word or speech only, but in deeds and in truth-breaking the chains of injustice, sharing bread with the hungry, defending the weak, and welcoming the outcast. Call us from spiritual hypocrisy to authentic service, that we may break every yoke and embody your justice and compassion, so that your light may break forth through us in a world of darkness. Renew our hearts, that we may love as you love-not with mere abstinence, with justice, mercy, and self-denying love that lifts the yoke from the oppressed and brings hope to the helpless. Through Jesus Christ, our compassionate Shepherd, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever. Amen.
