PSALMS
🎼
Psalms 25 to 28
Psalms 26: 8
I have loved the habitation of THY house.
The psalmist’s happiness does not come from associating with the world but from being in the house and congregation of the LORD, where GOD’s presence and power are manifested among His people, where GOD’s glory dwells, and where believers walk in GOD’s truth.

OLD TESTAMENT
🌈
Numbers 6: 22 – 7: 11
Numbers 6: 23
Bless the children of Israel…
Verses 22 to 27 show GOD’s gracious response to His people if they maintained purity in the congregation and expressed the kind of heart devotion seen in the Nazarite vow. To bless conveys the idea that GOD’s presence, activity and love are brought into a person’s life and environment. This blessing was set before GOD’s faithful servants under the conditions HE had established.

Numbers 6: 24 – 26
The LORD bless you and keep you
The LORD make HIS face to shine upon you, and be gracious to you.
The LORD lift up HIS countenance upon you and give you peace.

NEW TESTAMENT
✝
Acts 17: 16 – 34
Acts 17: 30
Commands all …to repent…
In the past, before full knowledge of GOD came through JESUS CHRIST, GOD overlooked much of human sin and ignorance of Himself. Now that HIS full and perfect revelation has come with CHRIST’s appearing all are commanded to repent and believe in JESUS as LORD and SAVIOUR. There are no exceptions, for GOD will not overlook anyone’s sins. All must turn from sin to GOD or be condemned. Repentance, in other words, is an essential posture for receiving the gift of salvation.
