O LORD GOD, to whom vengeance belonged.
Believers should be so grieved because of all the injustice, brutality and wickedness in the world that they pray continually for GOD to stop the triumph of evil and avenge the wrong. JESUS states that His elect should cry day and night that GOD will avenge them speedily. Commitment to justice and sympathy for those who are wrongfully treated should cause us to pray for the return of CHRIST that HE might rule the earth in righteousness.

Built the Altar of the GOD of Israel.
The first priority of the returned exiles was to build an altar unto the LORD. The altar was the center of Jewish worship, for on it sacrifices and blood atonement for sin were offered to GOD. The people were motivated to build the altar, at least in part, because of the danger from the people of those countries.

Hebrews 9: 28
HE shall appear the second time…
Under the old covenant, the Israelites watched intensely for the reappearance of their high priest after he had gone into the sanctuary to make atonement.
Likewise believers, knowing that JESUS is their advocate, wait with earnest hope for HIS reappearing to bring salvation to its completion.
