Psalms 89
Psalms 89: 15 – 18
Happy are those who so know the joyful sound of the gospel as to obey it; who experience its power upon their hearts, and bring forth the fruit of it in their lives. Though believers are nothing in themselves, yet having all in CHRIST JESUS, they may rejoice in HIS name. May the LORD enable us to do so. The joy of the LORD is the strength of His people; whereas unbelief dispirits ourselves and discourages others. Though it steals upon us under a semblance of humility, yet it is the very essence of pride. CHRIST is the Holy One of Israel; and in him was that peculiar people more blessed than in any other blessing.

OLD TESTAMENT
🌈
Deuteronomy 26: 1 – 19
Deuteronomy 26: 8
The LORD brought us forth.
The Israelites were expected to remember always that their existence and redemption came about because of what GOD had done for them. They were to confess this truth publicly and respond to GOD with offerings, Thanksgiving, joy, goodness toward others and obedience to GOD’s commandments. As believers in CHRIST, we likewise owe our lives and salvation to the mercy of GOD through CHRIST. We have been redeemed and purchased by HIS death and have become HIS own possession. From now on we must live in gratitude as living sacrifices unto our LORD, not being conformed to this world but being transformed by the HOLY SPIRIT, so that we may do HIS will.

NEW TESTAMENT
✝
Romans 14: 6 – 17
Romans 14: 13
Let us not …judge one another.
Though we must refrain from judging each other in trivial matters, believers should consider how to encourage each other to true CHRIST likeness and holiness when it concerns faith, doctrine and morals. This involves sincerity evaluating correcting and rebuking one another in love and humility and when necessary, exercising church discipline.
