My heart shall rejoice in THY salvation.
The answer to GOD’s apparent delay is to trust in HIS loving kindness and to remember that HE has delivered and blessed us in the past. The LORD’s loving-kindness will appear in HIS own time and way.

A fountain opened to the house of David.
This fountain pictures the cleansing from sin brought about by CHRIST’s death on the cross. The Jewish people will be cleansed from sin in the same way that all believers in CHRIST are.

Satan manipulated the Word of GOD when tempting CHRIST to sin.
At times worldly people will use Scripture in an attempt to persuade believers to do something they know is wrong and unwise. Some scripture texts, when taken out of context or not compared with other passages of GOD’s Word may even appear to condone sinful behaviour. Believers must know GOD’s Word thoroughly and beware of those who pervert Scripture in order to fulfil the desires of sinful human nature.
