Psalms 144: 5
O LORD…come down.
GOD has trained the psalmist to trust HIM for battle and for any time of crises. Moreover, the psalmist must continue to trust GOD for the battle, as there are still many dangers to face. After experiencing salvation in CHRIST and the baptism in the HOLY SPIRIT, believers also continue to need GOD’s daily strength and grace to face the battles of temptation and spiritual warfare encountered in following CHRIST.
Seeking GOD’s face for heaven’s help is an ongoing need for all who are members of GOD’s kingdom.

It caused the people to understand the law.
Ezra and the Levites demonstrate what should happen whenever GOD’s Word is proclaimed to His people. Many of the returned exiles no longer understood Hebrew, for their language was now Aramaic. Thus when the Hebrew Scriptures were read, a group of dedicated men translated it into Aramaic and explained it’s meaning in a manner that the people could understand and apply to their lives, as a result, the people rejoiced because they had understood the words that were declared unto them.

Revelation, repentance, revival and rejoicing are all potentially present and waiting to be released by the HOLY SPIRIT through anointed messengers who proclaim GOD’s Word with clarity, power and conviction.

Revelation 6: 9
Slain for the Word of GOD.
When the fifth seal is opened, John sees what is happening in heaven. Those slain for the Word of GOD are those who are martyred for their faith in CHRIST and the truth of HIS Word. They are told to have patience, for many more will yet die for their faith. The period of tribulation will be a terrible time of persecution for those who accept the gospel and remain faithful to GOD and HIS Word.
