Psalms 144: 1
Teacheth my hands to war.
The psalmist was called upon to wage war for the nation of Israel. We can apply this message to believers in CHRIST whom GOD calls to wage spiritual battle against Satan, the world and the flesh. We must advance GOD’s kingdom by proclaiming the gospel in the power of the HOLY SPIRIT, by bringing down Satan’s strongholds and by leading people to salvation in CHRIST. Warriors who depend on GOD’s strength and training will be victorious.

Deborah was a prophetess, she had prophetic gifts, which enabled her to hear messages from GOD and to communicate HIS will to the people. Deborah’s close relationship with GOD gave her great influence among her people.

According to the prophecies.
Evidently, prophecies had been made regarding Timothy’s life and ministry in the church. Paul exhorts Timothy to remain faithful to that revealed will for his life. As a spiritual leader of the church in Ephesus, he must remain loyal to the true apostolic faith and fight against the false doctrines creeping into the church.
