I put my trust.
This psalm contains a prayer by an older person who faces troubles and needs GOD’s help to rescue him from his enemies and affliction. He has walked in GOD’s ways since childhood and experienced exceptional troubles in life, yet he has maintained his faith and confidence in GOD. He is determined to live the rest of his life with the confidence that GOD will manifest HIS power and goodness in his life.​

The sons of Levi.
Chapter 6 gives the descendants of Levi, the line of high priests, down to the captivity, and lists the Levitical cities. GOD had chosen the sons of Levi for spiritual service in the Tabernacle and the temple. This chapter points to the importance of true worship according to the instruction of GOD.

Woman of Samaria.
JESUS’ conversation with the Samaritan woman reveals HIS commitment to HIS HEAVENLY FATHER’s purpose and HIS inner desire to bring this person to eternal life. JESUS’ consuming passion was to save the lost, a goal infinitely more important to HIM than food and drink. We must follow JESUS example. All around us people are ready to hear GOD’s Word, we must find ways to speak to them about their spiritual needs and about JESUS who can meet that needs.
