Let their table become a snare before them.
The psalmist prays for judgement to come on those who oppose GOD and inflict suffering upon the righteous. Paul applied these verses to those Jews who continued to reject CHRIST and HIS Salvation.

Thy GOD my GOD.
Naomi apparently had imparted to Ruth her faith in the LORD GOD by example and teaching. Ruth’s faith in GOD caused her to remain faithful in her love for Naomi.
Ruth illustrates the divine principle that whoever loses his life for my sake shall find it.
