Psalms 132 to 135
Psalms 133: 1 โ 3
Brethren to dwell together in unity.
This psalm expresses the same spiritual truth as John 17, where JESUS prayed that His followers would be established in love, holiness and unity. HE knew that the HOLY SPIRIT could not operate among them if there were divisions based on sin and selfish ambitions. But fervent love for GOD and for one another along with sanctification in the truth of GOD’s Word, will bring GOD’s nearness to and HIS anointing on His people.
OLD TESTAMENT
๐
Judges 1: 1 โ 36
Judges 1: 28
Did not utterly drive them out.
Joshua had destroyed many of the Canaanites, yet after his death a considerable number remained within the land, GOD had commanded Israel to drive out the Canaanites completely, excusing themselves of their corrupt and sensual form of religion. Israel’s ultimate failure to do this caused them to compromise with the Canaanites and brought ruin and defeat to the people of GOD.
NEW TESTAMENT

Ephesians 5: 11 โ 33
Ephesians 5: 18
Filled with the SPIRIT.
Be filled carries the meaning in Greek of being filled repeatedly. GOD’s children must experience constant renewal by repeatedly being filled with the HOLY SPIRIT. Christians are to be baptised in the HOLY SPIRIT after conversion.
