Thou are near, O LORD.
The psalmist experiences GOD’s nearness in times of trouble because he loves the LORD and is devoted to meditating on HIS Word. The LORD is near to all who love HIM and HIS Word.

Cities of refuge were established to provide protection for someone who killed a person accidentally. Those accused of murder could flee to one of the cities and find refuse until a fair trial, could be arranged.

Truth in love.
Maintaining unity in the faith must be based on an active love that seeks to resolve problems and reconcile differences by mutual loyalty and obedience to CHRIST and HIS Word. This means that holding and speaking New Testament truth in love have priority loyalty to Christian Institutions, tradition, and individual people of the visible church.
Away in an obscure corner of Asia Minor, the greatest event of worldβs history had taken place: The advent of Jesus Christ and the founding of the Christian Church.
