Psalms 115; 116 and 117
Psalms 116: 15
Precious… is the death of his saints…
The LORD carefully watches over the lives of His faithful people. He exercises control over the circumstances of their deaths. When they are dying, HE is there with them. Their deaths, which are of great value to HIM are the occasion when they are delivered from all evil, are taken from this life to blessed victory and are brought into heaven to see JESUS face to face.β
OLD TESTAMENT
π
Numbers 32: 1 β 27
Numbers 32: 20
If ye will go armed…
Moses would allow the tribes of Reuben and Gad to settle on the east side of Jordan only if they promised to help the other tribes in their conquest of Canaan. It would be considered a great sin if they sought their own selfish interest when others gave themselves to do battle for the LORD.
NEW TESTAMENT
β
Ephesians 1: 15 β 2: 10
Ephesians 1: 19
HIS power…
In order for us as believers to advance in grace, achieve victory over Satan and sin, witness effectively for CHRIST and gain final salvation, GODβs SPIRIT and power must be present within us.
