PSALMS
📓
Psalms 40 and 41
Psalms 40: 8
THY law is within my heart.

The obedient faith that GOD desires is a faith that sincerely delights in following GOD’s will and manifests that joy by striving to hide GOD’s Word in the heart.

OLD TESTAMENT
📓

Deuteronomy 32: 15
Waxed fat.

Prosperity was a major factor in the Israelites forgetting GOD and embracing idolatry. History has shown repeatedly that in times of ease and plenty, GOD’s people are most prone to forget GOD and to stop seeking HIS face. During adverse circumstances, however, GOD’s people are more likely to approach GOD earnestly and ask for HIS help.

NEW TESTAMENT

Colossians 2: 16 – 3: 7
Colossians 3: 4
CHRIST….Who is our life?

Although right doctrine and holy lives are essential part of redemption in CHRIST, it is fellowship with and love for CHRIST as a person that must always be kept central.
Notice the emphasis on the believers’ personal communion with CHRIST in this letter.
