PSALMS
🎼
Psalms 40 and 41
Psalms 40: 8
I delight to do THY will.
The motto of JESUS whole life was, Lo, I come to do THY will, O GOD Hebrews 10:9.
It is by CHRIST’s obedience unto death that we have been sanctified so that the law of GOD may be put into our hearts. Thus every believer must also affirm these words of CHRIST in his or her own life, “Lo I come to do THY will, O GOD.”

OLD TESTAMENT
🌈
Jeremiah 23: 9 – 29
Jeremiah 23: 17
Ye shall have peace.
False prophets hold out to GOD’s people a false hope and security. Those who maintain that the immoral and disobedient among GOD’s people will not be condemned for their evil and do not need to fear GOD’s wrath and judgment prove themselves to be false messengers. Prophets with this message existed not only in Old Testament times but also in New Testament times. Apostle Paul warned the Ephesians not to be deceived by such teachers.

NEW TESTAMENT
✝
Luke 14: 12 – 35
Luke 14: 28 – 33
Counteth the cost.
JESUS teaches that whoever desires to follow HIM and be HIS disciple should first decide whether he or she is prepared to pay the cost. The cost of real discipleship is to give up all relationships and possessions, all that we have must be placed in CHRIST’s service and under HIS guidance.
