Psalms 107: 6
They cried unto the LORD.
Four times the psalmist uses this phrase, and four times it is stated that GOD delivered them out of their distresses. GOD frequently brings His children to a place where their own self-sufficiency fails and where no human being can help, in order that they might cry out to HIM in humble and childlike faith.β

Above all, he instructed his son to be careful to observe GOD’s word and seek the LORD with all his heart and soul.
