Psalms 104: 24 β 35 and 105: 1 β 22
Psalms 104: 31 β 35
Man’s glory is fading; GOD’s glory is everlasting: creatures change, but with the Creator, there is no variableness. And if mediation on the glories of creation be so sweet to the soul, what greater glory appears to the enlightened mind when contemplating the great work of redemption! There alone can a sinner perceive a ground of confidence and joy in GOD. While HE with pleasure upholds all, governs β all, and rejoices in all HIS works, let our souls, touched by HIS grace, meditate on and praise HIM.

They hearkened not.
Judah sinned in failing to listen to GOD’s Word and to take seriously what GOD said. Many people continue to sin and to live selfishly because they ignore GOD’s Word or treat it lightly, they simply do not believe GOD and what HE says. Even the church has members who are not afraid of GOD’s warnings and who do not respect HIS commandments.
