Psalms 100; 101 and 102
Psalms 101: 3
I will set no wicked thing before mine eyes.
Today it is common for people to be entertained by using their eyes to view violence, sexual immorality, sensuality, pornography, acts of perversion and evil of all kinds as a means to gratify the lust and desires of the flesh. Through books, magazines, television, cinema, videos and the internet, every imaginable form of evil is dramatized and made easily available to young and old.
GOD’s people must guard their eyes and hearts from viewing or being entertained
by things that GOD HIMSELF regards as vile.
OLD TESTAMENT

Ezra 6: 1 β 22
Ezra 6: 1 β 12
When GOD’s time is come for fulfilling HIS gracious purposes concerning His church, HE will raise up instruments to do it, from whom such good service was not expected. While our thoughts are directed to this event, we are led by Zechariah to fix our regard on a nobler, a spiritual building.
The LORD JESUS CHRIST continues to lay one stone upon another: let us assist the great design. Difficulties delay the progress of this sacred edifice. Yet let not opposition discourage us, for in due season it will be completed to HIS abundant praise. HE shall bring forth the head-stone thereof with shootingsβ, crying – Grace, grace unto it.
