God of truth and life, we thank you for sending your Son Lord Jesus, the initiator and perfector of faith. He has taught us to believe in you and in Him so that we have a perfect understanding of the truth. Grant us the heart to believe in him and to receive his truth in our lives that we may escape the traps of illusion through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, world without end.
Amen.
