OLD TESTAMENT
🌈
1 Kings 22: 11 – 33

1 Kings 22: 23
A lying spirit…

The lying spirit can be understood as one of satan’s agents an evil spirit sent by GOD to condemn Ahab and the false prophets in their sin. Their hearts were hardened against the truth to such an extent that GOD finally gave them over to a lie as the due penalty for their sin. The same kind of judging will take place in the last days of this age when GOD will send a strong delusion. That they all might be damned who believed not the truth.

NEW TESTAMENT
✝️
Mark 6: 21 – 44

Mark 6: 41
Thanksgiving at mealtimes.

Before eating, CHRIST gave thanks to HIS HEAVENLY FATHER for the food. Believers ought to follow HIS example and give thanks at every meal. To eat with Thanksgiving is to recognize GOD’s care and provision for us. Every meal should be an act of worship, done to the glory of GOD, on giving thanks before meals.
