PSALMS
🎼
Psalms 145 and 146

Psalms 145: 8
The LORD is gracious.

This oft- repeated refrain expresses GOD’s delight in showing mercy. When HE sees misery, it moves HIS heart to compassion, HE is slow to become angry at our offences and quickly shows love and mercy when forgiveness is requested.

OLD TESTAMENT
🌈
1 Kings 13: 20 – 14: 9

1 Kings 13: 21 & 22
Thou hast disobeyed the mouth of the LORD.

The story of the unnamed disobedient prophet was recorded as an example and warning to believers today. The Scriptures stand as the believers’ highest obligation in all things pertaining to GOD’s will for his or her life. The words and teachings of recognized ministers of GOD or even angels must never be accepted if they contradict the instructions and standards of written revelation found in the original testimony of CHRIST and the apostles.

NEW TESTAMENT
✝️
Mark 1: 16 – 28

Mark 1: 17
Come ye after me.

The first calling of disciples is to follow JESUS and to know HIM personally. As a result of this relationship, they must then lead others to a saving knowledge of JESUS.
