God of grace and God of glory, we thank you for sending your Holy Spirit upon the Church so that she may become an instrument to free people from ungodliness, slavery of sin and the powers of darkness. Have mercy on us and empower us with the Holy Spirit that we will be liberated and will become a new community to fulfil the mission of our LORD JESUS CHRIST who lives and reigns with YOU and the HOLY SPIRIT, one GOD, world without end.
Amen.
