Psalms 103 and 104: 1 β 23
Psalms 104: 10 β 18
When we reflect upon the provision made for all creatures, we should also notice the natural worship they render to GOD. Yet man, forgetful ungrateful man, enjoys the largest measure of HIS Creator’s kindness. The earth, varying in different lands. Nor let us forget spiritual blessings; the fruitfulness of the church through grace, the bread of everlasting life, the cup of salvation, and the oil of gladness. Does GOD provide for the inferior creatures, and will he not be a refuge to his people?
OLD TESTAMENT
π
Habakkuk 1: 12 β 2: 5
Habakkuk 2: 3
The vision is yet for an appointed time.
The final solution to Habakkukβs problem would come only in the future, at GOD’s appointed time. There would be a termination point to wickedness in the world. The faithful people of GOD had to wait for it even though it seemed to take such a long time. Like Habakkuk, we must wait for the LORD’s righteous intervention at the end of this age. Ultimately, CHRIST will take away the righteous from the earth and bring destruction on all evil.
NEW TESTAMENT
β
Revelation 19: 1 β 10
Revelation 19: 1
After these things.
Chapter 19 deals with the end of the tribulation and CHRIST’s glorious second coming to earth to destroy the beast, the false prophet and the ungodly, and to reign with His saints.
