PSALMS
📓
Psalms 15; 16 and 17
Psalms 16: 10
Thou wilt not leave my soul in hell.

Hell (Sheol) here means the grave. So personal relationship with GOD will give believers confidence in a future life with GOD and the certainty that HE will not abandon them to the grave. The apostles Peter Paul applied this verse to CHRIST and HIS resurrection.

OLD TESTAMENT
📓
Nahum 1: 1 – 15
Nahum 1: 3
The LORD is slow to anger.

GOD desires to give sinners time to repent, but there is a limit to HIS kindness and patience, those who persist in wickedness will eventually encounter HIS wrath.

NEW TESTAMENT

Revelation 11: 1 – 14
Revelation 11: 4
Olive trees ….candlesticks.

The two olive trees here represent the abundance of the oil of anointing of the HOLY SPIRIT flowing through two men of GOD regarding a similar description of the SPIRIT’s anointing upon Zerubbabel and Joshua.

In Revelation, the candlesticks symbolize the churches of JESUS CHRIST. By using this language John says that the two witnesses will be abundantly empowered by the HOLY SPIRIT and represent the churches of JESUS CHRIST as GOD’s clear witness and mouthpiece to perform miraculous signs in the presence of unbelievers.
