PSALMS
📓
Psalms 111 to 114
Psalms 113 to 118
Passover Psalms.
Jews used these Psalms at the yearly Passover celebration. The first two were sung before the meal and the remaining after the meal. Thus these were probably the last songs JESUS CHRIST sang before HIS death. Since these psalms begin in Hebrew with the word Hallelujah. Jews call them Hallel (praise).

OLD TESTAMENT
📓
Ezra 10: 9 – 44
Ezra 10: 15 – 44
The best reformers can but do their endeavour; when the Redeemer HIMSELF shall come to Zion, HE shall effectually turn away ungodliness from Jacob. And when sin is repented of and forsaken, GOD will forgive it; but the blood of CHRIST, our Sin- offering, is the only atonement which takes away our guilt. No seeming repentance or amendment will benefit those who reject HIM, for self-dependence proves them still un-humbled. All the names written in the book of life, are those of penitent sinners, not of self-righteous persons, who think they have no need of repentance.

NEW TESTAMENT

Hebrews 13: 17 – 25
Hebrews 13: 17
Obey them.
Obedience and faithfulness to Christian leaders, pastors and teachers must be based on a higher loyalty to GOD. The believer’s loyalty on a descending scale is as follows.
First, to GOD in a person-to-person relationship, including faithfulness to the truth and principles of HIS Word.
Second to the visible church as it remains faithful to GOD and HIS written Word.
Third, to godly leaders within the church who remain faithful and loyal to GOD, to HIS Word and to HIS mission for the Church.
