GOD can pardon and punish an individual at the same time. We must distinguish between being restored in our relationship with GOD and still experiencing the consequences of sins we have committed.

The eye of their GOD was upon the elders. Those who commit their lives to GOD’s cause and work are special objects of HIS watchful care. If you are striving to exalt our LORD’s kingdom and HIS righteousness, HE will never withdraw HIS eyes from you. This promise belongs to you. The eyes of the LORD are upon the righteous.

NEW TESTAMENT

The just shall live by faith.
This fundamental principle, affirmed four times Scripture governs our relationship to GOD and our participation in the salvation provided through JESUS CHRIST. The person who perseveres in faith receives what GOD promises and be saved.
