One terrible consequence of willful sin is the loss of GOD’s fellowship and the sense of HIS presence. It is a grievous and bitter experience to commit willful sin after knowing the mercy of GOD and the indwelling of the HOLY SPIRIT.

Samson, now with a repentant spirit and a renewed faith in GOD called upon the LORD, and his prayer was answered. This final heroic demonstration of Samson’s faith resulted in his inclusion among heroes of faith.β

New Testament believers had an intense longing for the LORD’s return to take them from earth to be with His forever. A distinctive mark of GOD’s people is that they long for JESUS, do not feel at home in this world and are looking forward to being with HIM in their heavenly home.
Away in an obscure corner of Asia Minor, the greatest event of worldβs history had taken place: The advent of Jesus Christ and the founding of the Christian Church.
