For HIS mercy endures forever.
This teaches us that GOD’s mercy and love are the foundation of all HIS works on our behalf and the fountainhead of all our Thanksgiving. HIS love includes HIS mercy, faithfulness and kindness.

The LORD raised Judges…
The Judges served as military and tribal leaders in a time when Israel was undergoing spiritual, social and moral decline. GOD raised them to deliver His people from their enemies after they repented and returned to GOD. The Judges possessed outstanding qualities of leadership and accomplished great feats through the power of the HOLY SPIRIT.

Children obey.
Normally children of believers remain under parental guidance until they become part of another family unit through marriage. Small children must be taught to obey and honour their parents by being brought up in the training and instructions of the LORD.
