Psalms 118 and 119: 1 β 24
Psalms 119: 9
Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way? How many believers keep their lives pure, resisting the immoral influences that characterize the ungodly environment in which we live?
The second stanza of this psalm lists the following eight ways, one in each verse β
1) By making an irreversible decision to remain loyal to GOD’s written Word for the rest of our lives.
2) By seeking the LORD in prayer.
3) By committing GOD’s Word to memory.
4) By looking to GOD for guidance.
5) By taking an open stand for GOD’s truth.
6) By rejoicing and delighting in what GOD says.
7) By considering the outcome of GOD’s ways as opposed to the ways of the world and
8) By never becoming too busy to read and study GOD’s Word.

Damascus.
Damascus was the major city of Syria and was located in the southern part of that country. Amos also prophesied against the people of Damascus because of their cruelty.
NEW TESTAMENT

They believed…the name of JESUS CHRIST.
The Samaritans fully met the conditions for salvation and were Christians before the SPIRIT came upon them. They believed and were baptized. The faith of the Samaritans was genuine saving faith.
