PSALMS
🎼
Psalms 15 to 17
Psalms 16: 2
My goodness extendeth not to thee.
Apart from GOD, the psalmist sees no meaning in life and no personal happiness. Nothing in his life is good if the LORD’s presence and blessing are absent. Paul expressed this same truth when he said “For me to live, is for CHRIST.”
OLD TESTAMENT
🌈
Daniel 2: 17 – 49
Daniel 2: 19 – 23
Daniel blessed the GOD of heaven.
Daniel’s first thought after GOD revealed the dream and its interpretation was to praise the LORD for HIS goodness and power.
To break out in spontaneous expressions of praise to GOD is characteristic of those who truly love and serve HIM.
NEW TESTAMENT
✝️
1 Corinthians 7: 8 – 31
1 Corinthians 7: 31
They that use this world.
We live in the period when all worldly things are hastening toward an end. For this reason life in this world should not be our utmost concern, we should direct our greatest attention toward our heavenly home.
Away in an obscure corner of Asia Minor, the greatest event of world’s history had taken place: The advent of Jesus Christ and the founding of the Christian Church.
