PSALMS
🎼
Psalms 109: 1 – 5 & 21 – 31 and 110

Psalms 109: 1 – 5
It is the unspeakable comfort of all believers, that whoever is against them, GOD is for them; and to him they may apply as to one pleased to concern himself for them. David’s enemies laughed at him for his devotion, but they could not laugh him out of it.

OLD TESTAMENT
🌈
2 Kings 21: 1 – 26

2 Kings 21: 14
I will forsake the remnant of mine inheritance.
Judah was the focus of redemptive history at this time, forming what was left of GOD’s elect people. Like the northern kingdom, however a large number of them, by worshipping false gods, cast aside the salvation that GOD had prepared for them. Only those who persevere in genuine faith are assured of remaining a part of GOD’s elect people.

NEW TESTAMENT
✝️
Mark 16: 1 – 19
This represents the authentic witness of the early church’s beliefs and her characteristic experience of the HOLY SPIRIT at a very early period. When properly interpreted, nothing in these verses contradicts other portions of Scripture.
