Psalms 10 to 14
Psalms 11
In the LORD, I put my trust.
This psalm rebukes those who counsel flight or compromise when Biblical principles are at stake. Faithful believers will take refuge in the LORD and remain committed to righteousness even if the moral and spiritual foundations are destroyed in both society and the church, the result will be that the LORD’s countenance doth behold the upright.
OLD TESTAMENT

2 Chronicles 10: 1 – 11: 23
2 Chronicles 10: 1
The dividing of the kingdom.
This chapter marks the point when the nation of Israel was torn apart into two kingdoms. The northern kingdom was called Israel, the southern kingdom Judah. The main stream of Hebrew history is viewed at all times in this book as being the southern kingdom of Judah. The people of Judah constituted the majority of the post – exilic remnant who returned to the Holy Land and for whom Chronicles was originally written. Judah remained centre of the worship of the LORD GOD, and Judah’s kings were David’s descendants and thus part of the covenant promise.

Concerning the true nature of CHRIST’s kingdom and its redemptive purpose, JESUS kingdom is not of this world.
JESUS followers are armed only with spiritual weapons. CHRIST’s kingdom is the Kingdom of GOD.
