OLD TESTAMENT
Nehemiah 2: 10 – 3: 12
Nehemiah 2: 12
Neither did I tell any man what my GOD had put in my heart to do.
Though Nehemiah arrived as governor with the full authority of the Persian Empire behind him, he did nothing for three days and told no one his GOD given plans. We can be sure he was waiting on GOD, not rushing ahead by trusting in his own strength.
Then he made a cautious, careful survey of the damage done to the walls by the Samaritans, while at the same time undoubtedly counting the cost. Most important, instead of criticizing the people for their problems and sorrows, he wanted to see these problems from their own viewpoint, thus he said nothing until he could understand the situation from their perspective and feel what they felt.

Revelation 1: 9 – 20
Revelation of JESUS CHRIST.
This book is a Revelation from JESUS CHRIST about HIMSELF. This is extremely important for it reveals JESUS evaluation of His churches 60 to 65 years after HIS resurrection and ascension, and it discloses future events concerning the tribulation, GOD's triumph over evil, CHRIST's return to reign on earth and the blessedness of the eternal kingdom of GOD.
Away in an obscure corner of Asia Minor, the greatest event of world’s history had taken place: The advent of Jesus Christ and the founding of the Christian Church.
